skirts for girls

I did not mean to write to this post but feel I had to.  I logged into Ebay minutes ago and thought that I was seeing things.  As in, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.  Ebay may change it soon because a lot of people are complaining already, but just search for Derek Lam.  Here is one image.  I tried copying the image but it wouldn't let me.

My point is: the model looks super skinny.  There is a lot of chatter on the boards about it, here.

This kind of stuff really makes me a-n-g-r-y.  Like whe photoshopped that Ralph Lauren model, because she was ' and a size 4!  Now, I don't know if the Derek Lam model has been photoshopped -- my rant is about how skinny she looks.  OK, she is wearing platforms, which will elongate the leg, but her legs are concave!

This weekend, in Manhattan, I saw girl after girl on the street wearing short short dresses and skirts, some billowy, some tight, but all a mere inch or two below the panty-line.  I watched them walk down the street and fidgeted with my own clothes, and I was wearing pants!  This is the type of dress they were wearing.
